Incontinence Dermatitis       How to use Sudocrem?
Sudocrem® Healing Cream is an emollient soothing cream which aids and assists in the management of incontinence dermatitis.

Sudocrem® Healing Cream provides barrier protection to the skin from stools and urine, promotes healing, and soothes irritated skin.

Use Sudocrem® Healing Cream after cleaning and drying the affected area, as often as required.

Applying a thin, even layer directly on to the skin will not interfere with the absorbency of incontinence pads

What is Incontinence?       Who has Incontinence?
Incontinence is the accidental or involuntary loss of urine from the bladder (urinary incontinence) or bowel motion, faeces, or wind (flatus) from the bowel (faecal or bowel incontinence). Bladder problems and urinary incontinence can happen for many reasons, so there are different types of incontinence.

The following are the most common: Stress, Urge and Overflow.

Like bladder problems, bowel problems and faecal incontinence can happen for many reasons. Constipation, diarrhoea and other problems such as muscle weakness (perhaps due to childbirth) and nerve disorders, such as in MS and Parkinson's disease are most common.

SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR if you have faecal incontinence, any change in bowel patterns, or any rectal bleeding
      Incontinence affects many of us.

People of all ages, cultures and backgrounds may experience incontinence.

Women are prone to bladder and bowel problems earlier in life than men as a result of pregnancy and childbirth.

Amongst older men and women, however, the number of people with incontinence is fairly even for both sexes.

Incontinence can be investigated and managed.

Treatment may help you to improve or possibly cure the incontinence.
